The continuous center rib enables constant contact with the road. That in combination with the optimized footprint provided by the Next Generation ETEC (Equal TEnsion Containment) System, the Advantage T/A Sport delivers reliant handling and stability at high driving speeds. The Aqua-Flume Technology moves water out of the tread, helping to greatly reduce hydroplaning.
With BFGs 3D Active Sipe Technology, the sipes give an increased number of biting edges for improved traction in various climates. With two ply polyester body casings along with Next Generation g-Wedge Sidewall Stabilizer inserts, the tire’s internal structure helps control distortion during cornering. Two wide, steel belts with a spirally-wrapped nylon reinforcement deliver durability, ride quality and stability.
