The Federal Himalaya WS2 is a touring, winter weather manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire promotes great winter weather traction. The model combines its directional tread design and winter compound to increase the winter grip. The directional pattern with the high-density siping pattern enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface in versatile weather conditions. The winter compound maintains the rubber flexibility in colder temperatures, keeping the tire pliable in such situations. The tire is pinned for studs, which can be added to further improve the ice and snow grip. The zigzag circumferential and angled lateral grooves avoid hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint and boost wet and slippery surface driving safety.
The tread design also boosts the model’s handling. The tread’s detailed pattern closely follows the road surface which increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model.
