OVERVIEW
The Mastercraft Stratus HT is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Mastercraft offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire guarantees excellent all season traction. The all season compound and symmetric ribbed tread design work together to greatly increase its performance in dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface as the sipe and groove pattern generates additional biting edges. On the other hand, its stronger compound enables the tire’s application in summer and winter temperatures. Hydroplaning is avoided, as the circumferential grooves channel water and slush from the footprint.
Better road contact increases its controllability as well. The flat footprint and ribbed tread design closely follow the road at all times. This effectively enhances its steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the model’s steering response time and accuracy, as well as the structural stability is maintained. The shoulder blocks provide the necessary traction and biting edges to ensure a safer cornering ability. Sipes and notches along the footprint generate friction when braking, enhancing its overall stopping power.
The model promotes a lengthened usability. The symmetric ribbed tread design and durable compound elements optimize the wear manner. Even pressure circulation is guaranteed, allowing the tire to prevent pressure accumulation across the footprint. It avoids irregular wear along the tread area.
